Ted Suzelis, ND

Naturopathic Doctor - Ohio Naturopathic Wellness Center

Dr. Ted Suzelis has been helping people in the Mahoning Valley for over 20 years to achieve a level of health that allows them to not only do what they want with their lives, but have the energy to fully enjoy it.

Dr. Ted believes that when given the right tools, the body can heal itself. Because of this, he focuses on helping patients with a healthy diet, along with vitamins, minerals, and other nutritional supplements tailored specifically for each patient. In order to understand what is needed for each patient, his evaluation goes deep into all that encompasses health, in order to get to the root cause of the problem. Only then can therapy be truly healing and not just a covering up of the symptoms.

In August 2001, Dr. Ted received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, which is a four-year, graduate-level naturopathic medical school. He was educated in all of the same basic sciences as an MD, but also studies holistic and nontoxic approaches to therapy with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio in August 1996.

Dr. Ted lives in Canfield, OH with his wife, Robin, and two children Evan and Dean. He enjoys spending time with his family and running on the bike trail whenever possible. Both of his children have been diagnosed with autism, which creates a combination of challenges and blessings for the family. Dr. Ted and Robin work hard to help their children grow and develop to reach their full potential in life.
